  • The same antibacterial spectrum as erythromycin   Erythromycin  but is generally less active against bacteria.
  • Has been used for the treatment of chronic colitis   Colitis  (mechanism of action unknown).
  • Management of small intestinal bacterial overgrowth .
  • Treament of Cryptosporidiosis   Cryptosporidium parvum  .

  • Drug interactions for tylosin are not well documented in small animals.
