Antibacterials
  • Acts synergistically with a number of other antibacterial agents.
  • Cationic detergents (eg chlorhexidine   Chlorhexidine  ) and chelating agents (eg EDTA   Calcium disodium edetate (CaEDTA)  ) potentiate the effect of polymyxin B againstPseudomonas aeruginosa.
