Drugs enhancing nitroprusside hypotensive effects
  • Anesthetics.
  • Beta-blockers (eg propranolol).
  • Calcium channel blockers (eg diltiazem, verapamil).
  • Corticosteroids.
  • Diuretics.
  • NSAIDs.
    Sympathomimetics (eg phenylpropanolamine)
  • May cause an additive tachycardia.
