    However, other sulfonylureas (glipizide) may have a greater effect.
  • May be of use in the management of diabetes insipidus   Diabetes insipidus  .

with other drugs

Chloramphenicol, phenylbutazone and potentiated sulfonamides

  • May enhance the effect.
    Loop and thiazide diuretics; corticosteroids
  • May have antagonistic effect.
    Potassium-sparing diuretics
  • Risk of hyponatremia if used concurrently.
