Indications

  • Allergies: allergic conjunctivitis, allergic rhinitis, etc.
  • Anaphylactic reactions.
  • Commonly used as premedication before transfusions and certain chemotherapeutic agents.
  • May reduce pruritus in conditions such as mange.
  • Counteracts the anticoagulant effects of warfarin and heparin.
