Storage requirements

Indications

  • This combination is active against gram-positive and gram-negative organisms, including penicillinase producing E. coli and S. aureus.
  • Pseudomonas and Klebsiella are resistant.

Probenecid
  • Decreases the renal tubular secretion of penicillin antibiotics and thus prolongs their blood levels.
Aminoglycosides
  • Do not mix in the same syringe as aminoglycosides.
