Overview

  • Application of GnRH or its analogs stimulates the healthy anterior pituitary to secrete LH and FSH.
  • Increased LH stimulates the Leydig cells of the testicles to secrete androgens (testosterone) and estrogens.
  • Plasma concentrations increase and are measured.
