Phenobarbitone

Cimetidine

  • Plasma theophylline levels may be increased Cimetidine.

Diltiazem

  • Plasma theophylline levels may be increased Diltiazem.

Erythromycin

  • Plasma theophylline levels may be increased Erythromycin.

Verapamil

  • Plasma theophylline levels may be increased Verapamil.

Pancuronium

Phenytoin

  • Theophylline may decrease the effects Phenytoin.

Beta-adrenergic blockers, eg propranolol

Anesthetics

  • There is an increased risk of dysrrhythmias if theophylline is administered with halothane Halothane.
  • There is an increased incidence of seizures with ketamine Ketamine.
  • Hyperesthesia seen in cats.
