Introduction

  • Bulky soft tissue sarcoma.
  • Signs: firm soft tissue mass most frequently affecting extremities.
  • Diagnosis: biopsy.
  • Treatment: radical surgical resection, radiation therapy, chemotherapy.
  • Prognosis: guarded - inadequate surgical resection → recurrence.

  • Malignant proliferation of fibrous tissue → locally invasive but rarely metastatic.
