Introduction

  • Cause: uncommon, usually benign tumors of hair follicles which grade into basal cell and adnexal gland tumors.
  • Signs: well-circumscribed single or multiple nodules, middle aged to older dogs, frequently on trunk.
  • Diagnosis: histopathology.
  • Treatment: surgical excision if required.
  • Prognosis: good.
