Introduction

General information

  • Originated in Australia, probably from the Australian Terrier and the Yorkshire Terrier, which it resembles.
  • Robust if yappy dog, can be intolerant if not obedience trained and socialized at an early age.
  • Silky coat requires daily grooming.
  • Can suffer in cold climates due to lack of a dense undercoat.
