Introduction

  • Once a need to supplement has been determined then there are many options on how minerals can be supplemented based on:
  1. Which minerals are required.
  2. Whether the animals are housed or fed.
  3. Cost
  4. Duration of efficacy
  5. Personal preferences.
Remember that supplementation of one element may adversely affect the metabolism of another element.
