Introduction

  • Dental disease is the most common cause of gradual weight loss and chronic 'poor doers' Decision tree: weight loss.
  • Any factor that causes anorexia will lead to weight loss, particularly chronic pain.
  • Rabbits have fastidious eating habits - if presented with an unfamiliar food or water source, they will refuse to eat and drink which will lead to weight loss.
