Vetstream Clinical Updates – RSS Feeds

What is an RSS Feed?

An RSS Feed consists of content from a website that you can access via your browser. It's easy to use, and helps you stay informed about the subjects you want to know about – in this case new and updated content available on Vetstream's clinical information services: Canis, Felis, and Equis.

To subscribe to one of our feeds simply click on the link(s) below. Unfortunately RSS is not supported in Internet Explorer 6 (see below).

Using RSS with Internet Explorer 6

As RSS is not supported in IE 6, users will need to download a news reader. Many different news readers are available and new versions are appearing all the time. You will need to choose a reader that is compatible with your operating system:

Using RSS with Internet Explorer 7
  1. Click on one of the feed links above to go straight to that feed.
  2. Click the Subscribe button and then click "Subscribe to this Feed".
  3. Type a name for the feed and select the folder to create the field in.
  4. Click Subscribe.
  5. You see your Feeds on the Feeds Tab in the Favourites Center. To see your Feeds, click the Favourites Center button and then click Feeds.
Using RSS with Firefox
  1. Click on one of the feed links above to go straight to that feed. When you select a feed you can preview it to see if the Content is right for you.
  2. To add the feed as a Live Bookmark, select Live Bookmarks from "Subscribe to this feed using" list. Then, click "Subscribe Now".
  3. Firefox enables the use of other feed readers such as Bloglines, My Yahoo! and Google. To subscribe to the web feed using one of these readers, select it from from "Subscribe to this feed using" list.
  4. If you subscribed using Firefox's Live Bookmarks, then Add Live Bookmark dialog appears. Enter a name of your choosing, to refer to the feed as it will appear in your bookmarks. Select where you want to save this bookmark.
  5. Click OK. you are now subscribed to the feed through a Live Bookmark. Live Bookmarks are placed in the same structure as other bookmarks.
  6. To view a page from the feed, select the item in the bookmark.
