Windows Vista and Microsoft IE7 compatibility

As you may know Microsoft has recently released Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 7 to the market. Our services are compatible with both of these products.

Please note that you will need to make sure that you have the correct software installed on your computer.

To find out which version of our software you have installed please do the following:

  1. Click on START (in the bottom left hand corner of your computer screen)
  2. Click on Settings (where applicable)
  3. Click on Control Panel
  4. Click on Add/Remove Programs
  5. Look for an entry called "SealedMedia Unsealer X.X.X.X"
    (where X.X.X.X is the version number)
If the version number is less than 5.2.X.X then please remove the Unsealer.

To do this, carry out a single left click where it says "SealedMedia Unsealer X.X.X.X".
Click the Remove button and follow the on-screen instructions for removal.
If you are asked to restart your computer please do so.

Windows Vista users please download and install the Vista specific unsealer.
All other users log into our services as you would usually and you will be prompted to download the correct version of the Unsealer software.

Once the installation has completed you will be able to access Vetstream online services using Internet Explorer 7.

Accessing Vetstream with Internet Explorer 7

It will be neccessary to add our services to your trusted sites list.

An example of how to do this for the Canis service is displayed below.

Users in North America, Canada & Mexico please replace '.co.uk' with '.com' in the example below

  1. Please go to www.vetstreamcanis.co.uk
  2. Open the Internet Explorer Tools menu. If it is hidden press Alt+T (sometimes Alt+O).
  3. Go to Internet Options.
  4. Select the Security tab.
  5. Click the Trusted Sites tick.
  6. Click the Sites button.
  7. Uncheck the checkbox next to Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone."
  8. Then click the Add button.

http://www.vetstreamcanis.co.uk should now appear in the Websites list.

Please repeat the process for all the other services that you wish to access. http://www.vetstreamfelis.co.uk, http://www.vetstreamequis.co.uk and http://www.vetstreamlapis.co.uk
