Introduction
- Includes:
- Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)
.
- Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)
.
- Myeloma.
- Lymphoma (LSA)
.
- Cause : Unknown; FeLV
(lymphoma, ALL).
- Signs : Referable to cytopenia due to neoplastic cell infiltration of bone marrow, eg anemia, thrombocytopenia, granulocytopenia.
- Diagnosis : Hematology, biopsy of any discrete mass, bone marrow biopsy.
- Treatment : Cytotoxic drugs.
- Prognosis : Poor if ALL; good to fair if CLL; fair to guarded if myeloma or LSA.
