General information

  • An ancient breed taking its name from the Russian nomad tribe who used it for reindeer herding and hunting.
  • Although not easily obedience trained (attendance at classes is recommended), this very friendly breed is good natured and enjoys human company.
  • Suitable to the urban environment, particularly colder climates, it is a reasonable watchdog and its unaggressive nature makes it very good with children.
  • The long, luxurious coat will require regular grooming.

  • Pure white, white and biscuit, cream, outer coat silver tipped.
