General information
- An ancient breed taking its name from the Russian nomad tribe who used it for reindeer herding and hunting.
- Although not easily obedience trained (attendance at classes is recommended), this very friendly breed is good natured and enjoys human company.
- Suitable to the urban environment, particularly colder climates, it is a reasonable watchdog and its unaggressive nature makes it very good with children.
- The long, luxurious coat will require regular grooming.
