  • Said to have common roots with Dandie Dinmont Terrier.
  • Quiet disposition but game and can be formidable fighter if roused.
  • Bred to work alone.

Colors, markings and patterns

  • Blue, liver or sandy with or without tan; darker pigment to be encouraged.
  • Blues and blue-and-tans must have black noses.
  • Liver and sandies must have brown noses.
